    Showoff Your Quinlan Pipes

Here's a set of custom Father Son set of Pipes I had Austin Quinlan of Peterson Dublin make for me. We broke them in today as it was my son's birthday and what amazing smokers they are. I have to say it's one of the best smoking pipes I've had the pleasure of smoking.

    Burned out Peterson Bowl?

Help! I think this new Peterson Estate pipe has a burned out bowl. Which really sucks. I'm assuming pipe mud is the fix want to know if anyone has any other suggestions. I thought it was just cake at first, but then I noticed the bottom is much wider than the top and as I was down to bare wood...

    Removing Oxidation From a Stem

Quick question to all you fine people. Has anyone used the Briarville Oxidation remover and if so does it work better than oxyclean? I normally soak my stems in Oxyclean overnight, then magic eraser and steel wool them for really stubborn oxidation, and if all else fails micromesh pads.

    Pipe Repair Project.

I bought this Peterons 2019 St Patty's day pipe awhile ago. The rim was pretty charred and the laquer was flaking off. I finally got around to fixing it today. While not perfect, as it is very charred, it looks much better.

Making my Own Pipe Cleaning Solution.

Title edited for capitals. See Rule 9, please. So I've been using Pipemasters clean and cure for normal pipes and only tend to break out the rubbing alcohol for really old nasty pipes. Then I had an idea, it's a bit out there I'm sure. Why not take good old Tennessee Moonshine, and I'm not...

    Smoking Table Project

I've started a table project for when I smoke my pipes and cigars. The top is leather and will have mahogany sides. I bought an antique table base with brass claw feet. I stripped down the base and legs to refinish them. Will post pics as this moves along.

Commissioned Heavy Metal Pipe Rack Project.

A friend of mine reached out and has asked me to make his son in law a pipe rack. He said the guy loved heavy metal and his only stipulation was for the wood to be ebonized. So hears what I'm working on for him. I pulled inspiration from the heavy metal guitars. It should look really ncie when...

    Starting A Mega Rack

So I've started what I'm calling the Mega Rack, albeit it's not as big as some of the esteemed members of this forum have made. It will be made of solid Mahogany, the same leather pipes rest I always use, and will hold 70 pipes.

Scrap Wood and Leather Pipe Stand Projects

As I always want to use every piece of scrap wood and leather I have, I gave myself a challenge. Make single pipe racks out of scrap wood pieces while supplementing with leather as needed to finish them. The one rack is for a friend who carved a Sauron Inspired pipe complete with the One ring...

    Weekend Rack Project

Title edited. Please remember to upper case all but unimportant or very short words. While I was cleaning my shop I found a few pieces of scrap Granadillo and Mahogany. While it was not my intention to build another rack, inspiration struck, I got sidetracked and knocked this new 5 day rotation...

A Sneak Peek at my Next Rack.

In honor of the upcoming St Patty's day I decided that my Peterson St Patricks day pipes needed a themed rack. So here it is. The Three Leaf Clover pipe rack. Is is not complete just yet. So I will post pics on St Patty's day of the final reveal. On a side note. I have more St Patty's day...

    Overclocked Kaywoodie.

Hello Fellow Pipe Enthusiasts, My wife's Grandmaother gave me her late Husband's pipe collection. One of them is a Kaywoodie from 1930, or so I think. The stem is overlooked and I would love to fix it. Any suggestions?

    Built Another Pipe Rack

Built a new pipe rack out of Granadillo Wood. I decided on a rounded pipe rack which presented some difficulties but overall came out like I wanted. I did not stain the wood as I really love the grain and wanted the contrast it provided. I decided to cut the top mount in the shape of a pipe as I...

    Built my first Pipe Rack.

So I'll make this a short thread. I ran out of room for pipes like we all do and decided that I had enough skills to build my own rack. After some carful measurements I came up with this rack here. The top and bottom are made from African Mahogany while the back piece is made from Philipino...
