    Aloha, For some reason my C&D Missouri meerschaum shanks always crack… I think it’s partly because the tenon fits very tight. Any remedies to avoid/fix the the cracked shank?

    Brass Zippos

    I just recently got my first brass armored zippo. I quickly noticed that the chimney hasn’t become black yet like all of my chrome zippos have almost instantly. Is this unique to the brass zippos or am too quick to jump the gun.

    Keeping a Kiribi Clean

    Aloha, I was wondering for those of you who own a Kiribi, how do you keep it clean? Flint dust makes the top of my light black, and the flame adds even more black silt. This silt is extremely hard to clean off. So I was wondering how do you keep it clean, or even clean them efficiently?

    Stuck stem

    Hey I was wondering if anyone knew a quick fix to a stuck stem. I took apart one of my Petersons to clean, and the stem fits so tight in the mortise that it became stuck half-way in.

    Aloha, I finally got my first Peterson pipe. It's a great smoker, but the stem has somewhat sharp edges making it uncomfortable on the corners of the my lips to clench. Does anyone have a good remedy to this?

    Aloha, I recently bought this “estate” block meerschaum pipe from SP for $60. This is not only my first estate pipe but my first meerschaum. I was wondering how I would go about disinfecting this (mainly the stummel portion, the stem seems straight forward).

    Do you guys like smoking a bowl and then putting down to pick it back up later to smoke the remainder? I’ve noticed that every time I do this, the tobacco becomes really harsh… is there something I’m doing wrong?

    I know this question is far less controversial than the title, but what are your thoughts on cigar leaf in pipe blends? I thoroughly enjoy smoking cigars, but what has your experience been when it’s blended into pipe tobacco? I’ve been skeptical, so I placed an order on a blend to explore.
