Room Note and Tobacco Blends
I am not responding from years of experience but I would say yes, it is definitely subjective. However if I find a number of folks think it leaves a pleasant room note, I take it that when one enters the room it smells good. Aromatics, from my short experience and from what I read tend to smell...- Gavrin

How About Not Designating Pipes?
I figured I would just do it by vanillas, maple, cherry, berry, bourbon that sort of grouping unless someone comes up with an idea I think is better!- Gavrin

How About Not Designating Pipes?
The trend I notice in this thread is that when it comes to smoking aromatics they are thrown into one pile. So does anyone dedicate pipes to specific aromatics or is there no need to care and one can smoke any aromatic in any pipe dedicated for aromatics in general?- Gavrin

Do you have to send the case as well? I have a few that I have collected over the years and all but a couple have the regular insert. BUT I do not want to lose them... but it would be cool to get pipe inserts for them as that is what I use for pipe smoking.- Gavrin

It's been some years since I have fly fished but I too did fly tying. Your fly looks pretty good there. Tell you what. When I was first learning to tie flies I made the worst looking fly ever. Room Note and Tobacco Blends
As I am trying out my samples I found I like the room note of Lane 1Q. Is it safe to assume if I find other tobaccos with a similar make up of blend and flavoring the room note will be similar? Would the same hold for non-aromatics? Inquiring mind wants to know, thanks!- Gavrin
