Pipe Smoking and Humidity
I live in Houston and have humidity almost year round. I am an aromatic smoker mostly, and when the humidity is bad, I can leave out a high quality aromatic to dry for a few days and it still seem moist. The guys above have it right. Using a retort helps a lot. I recently cleaned / unclogged an estate pipe. Probably used close to 100 pipe cleaners and did the salt & alcohol treatment twice. Mini Lather - Will This Work For Pipe Making
Thanks lonestar. That was exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. The only turner I know turns pens and recommended the lathe in my OP. I had doubts on space and hp against briar. I think I will save for the jet.- eaglerico

Who cares. Its your pipe now. Do with it what you want. Despite what some people think, Dunhill is not some holy brand where you will burn in hell for not worshiping it. I'm Going to be Out for Awhile.
I had mine taken out after finals one semester of college. The stress caused them to cause more pain. My tip...come day 3 or 4, a food processor is your friend. The last thing you want is to get a piece of food stuck in there. Good luck, it was incredible when I got mine removed and healed.- eaglerico
