***What Are You Smoking, December 2021?***

LTF from 2005 in my Scott Klein Dublin Burner. Got my booster shot yesterday and expected the worst but I don’t feel bad at all besides the sore arm ?

    Vanilla Roll Cake Secrets?

I’ve been stacking a few, rolling, then stuffing. What about Aging? Dryness? Pipe? I did just open the tin yesterday. Maybe they need to breathe a bit.

    Vanilla Roll Cake Secrets?

How do you get the most from this blend? Smells incredible in the tin, but I feel like I’m not smoking it to full potential. All I’ve found is this here

Escudo in my Savinelli Punto Oro Gold blast billiard, with coffee and a fantastic book. My newfangled watch tells me it’s 39F degrees out here on the porch, but you’d never know it sitting in the sunshine.

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

Smoking Vanilla Roll Cakes in it rn. Very rosey in the beginning, but now at the end I can only taste the cakey goodness.

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

I'm making progress by simply smoking the daylights out of the pipe, primarily with burley based blends and subtle aromatics. At least as an aromatic pipe it will see use. I think I'm done with Lakelands (gasp!) so the pipe would do me little good there.

Lost a close animal friend today. Union Square in my finest Tinsky as I reflect on our friendship.

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

I wanted to try Ennerdale because I used to like Grousemoor, many years ago, but then ordered a tin and found it had almost no sauce whatsoever. I confirmed with another forum member here who also had bought a recent tin, same issue. So anyhow, I went for the Ennerdale. That was over a year ago...

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

You just pack the pipe full of used grounds and let it sit for 48 hours?

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

Kinda figured. Was hoping since pipe was new, and number of smokes is very low… was hoping it might be doable

    Exorcising Lakeland Ghost?

Can it be done? I only smoked Lakeland blend three times or so. BUT it was Ennerdale. Pipe was new briar, so there’s no cake. I gave it hot water treatment, and now I’m smoking OJK in it but yeah, definitely a ghost in there.

“Second breakfast!” 2016 Union Square in my Rubio Rhodesian I had dedicated this pipe to Capstan blue but Union Square is so pure I let this one slide
