Cigar Smoker looking for Pipe Tabacco
I am also primarily a cigar smoker. My humidor is stocked with 90% Nicaraguan and about 10% Honduran. I find that I like pipe smoking much more when the weather becomes cool in the fall. Favorite Tobak Pairings
I really enjoy Warsteiner Dunkel with a Balkan blend. It is a light bodied dark beer that really compliments the tobacco. I do have a difficult time pairing “regular” beer with a pipe.- jwussow

Mason Jar Brand?

I am enjoying a nice Va/Per. 99% of the time, I smoke English blends. I have not had much luck with Va/Pers, but I just tried some I had in my cellar in a very small clay pipe for the first time in ages. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Tobacco for New Smokers
Completely up to you. I would try to get a basic understanding of the different tobaccos and different blends, and stay away from flavored tobaccos. Then you can focus in on what you really like. I have tried many blends, and I stick with Balkan and Orientals, but that is just my preference...- jwussow

I agree about being careful with bent pipes. That being said, I would never keep a pipe that didn’t pass a cleaner when I received it. The Neerup churchwarden passed a pipe easily when I purchased it. -
