Your Most Expensive Pipe?
Hi everyone, I think, my so for most expensive pipe (the pipe I spent most money on) is this smaller Tokutomi straight Apple which I bought at smokingpipes.com one and a half years ago... Smokes as well as my other pipes do.. :) Best regards, Eddy -

Forming cake
I do it like hobie, I guess. I don't smoke my pipes with a noticable amount of cake... That doesn't mean I'm scraping out the bowl regularly to the bare wood or so but during smoking I use my tamper to slightly clean the bowl.. Concerning high quality briar: As far as simply a good smoke is concerned you have to look for lightweight briar since it has a lower allotment of "structure wood", which isn't absorbing moisture as well as what we in Germany... -
