    Flake Cut Troubleshooting

Did you rub out the flake into a ribbon/broken flake before loading or use the fold and stuff method? I personally don't like dealing with the fold and stuff method. I feel that maintaining it throughout the smoke turns into more work than rubbing out the flake

    Fake Latakia???

Good thought experiment! I honestly don't think i would mind, i smoke aromatics from time to time, and that could be considered a similar process.

    Fake Latakia???

I figure the idea came from somewhere, and was worth discussing! And what better place to discuss it? You can call that spreading it around if ya like

    Fake Latakia???

Through mediums such as Social Media comments, and pipe community youtubers, I have been hearing/seeing rumors of "fake" Latakia being used in blends. I guess the thought is that cyprian latakia is becoming difficult to obtain and manufacturers are testing a sprayed on "liquid smoke" type...

Newish Apple Tobacco - Sutliff's Candy Apple

Very interested to hear reviews on this one. I'm not a big aromatic smoker, but if the right apple flavor came out i would be into it. I think it would have to be burley/VA based and the topping very subtle.

    Favorite Virginia Tobaccos?

What an awesome answer from the man himself, @jeremyreeves ! I will tack on with the others and say that Opening Night is fantastic! Sun Bear has been my personal favorite release of recent years, but I'm eagerly waiting for some more Carolina Red Flake with Perique. Keep killing it out in...

    Packing jars too tightly?

I like the 8oz jars for the usual 50g tins. I usually pop it open, smoke a bowl, and cram the rest into the jar and it is usually packed pretty tight. I am also paranoid about mold, so i think the most important thing is that your jar and hands are clean

Was going to give the new Sun Bear a try, but missed the UPS guy, so I'll save that one for tomorrow. Just some 2020 Escudo for me today!
