    Bank Account Takes a Hit!

I don't know how many of you travel on Nova Scotia's roads, but they are simply horrible. It is a constant swerving, smashing, braking, accelerating to manouver over and around cracks, holes, pavement heaves, grass growing in the cracks in the roads, and the list could go on. This month, June...

    Sadly saying Goodbye to Humphrey

There comes a time, when even the most loved pet must be put to sleep. My wife, Vet, and myself, all agreed that it was time to say goodbye to our 4yr old Humphrey. Despite several surgerys for urinary blockages, medicine administered daily, and $100.00 bags of Specialty Cat food, at 10:45 am...

    Town and Country

OK, this pipe is cool but I know nothing. Googling Town and Country doesn't help much. It is well used so it must have been decent smoker. All it says on it is Town and Country, Imported Briar.

Picked up 12 Estate Pipes Tonight

I bought 12 estates tonight. There were 4 Dr. Grabow's included, I thought the Emperor and the Westbrook were cool. After researching them, I find that the Westbrook is indeed a good one and the Emperor even better. The other 2 are Dr. Grabow Belvedere's, I don't know much about them yet...

    Tobacco Plants

Bought 4 tobacco plants today and put em in the ground. $2.45 for four plants is a great buy. They are called Nicotiana Starmaker Lime. Anyone know anything about drying or curing it for pipe tobacco? I think it will be interesting to play around with.

    Comoy Straus Private Stock

I have been really lazy lately with posting pics of pipes and baccy. However, I must post a pic of this one that I recieved via a trade with a Forum Member here. I know this is not what some ppl would classify as a "High End" pipe, but to me it is, and it smokes as though it is. It is just a...

Anyone from Nova Scotia interested in getting together for a barbeque and a few bowls of baccy, give me a hollar. Has been 25-30 degrees in the Annapolis Valley all week. I am considering Sunday, June 3rd as the day. Time would be at 1:00pm. Of course, I will be monitoring the weather to make...

    Relaxing a Little too Much

Wife came around the corner of the house and snapped these pics. I think I was just a bit too relaxed while having an after supper smoke. I had spent the day painting the front and back decks in 85-90 degree temperatures today

.75 cents at Today's Yard Sale!

I found this beauty at a yard sale today. I asked Buddy what he wanted for it; he said .75 cents. I didn't think I heard him right so I asked again. Yup, .75 cents was the answer. Brought it home, put fluid in it, and away she goes. Works terrific.

Don't Smoke it, It is Horrible

I been seeing alot of comments in different places about Old Timers smoking Tea Leaves when they used to run out of Baccy years ago. I also been reading alot about how Green Tea is so very good for the body. Add them together and I came up with a huge brainstorm (more like brainfart!) I picked...
