    Wessex Gold Brick

I bought 5 bricks and opened one. Very good stuff. For the remaining 4, I cut a large vacuum seal bag into smaller pieces that were large enough to fit the bricks and sealed them individually. I'm pretty sure it worked, but we shall see.

    Pull the trigger.

    The diamond shank!

    Behold! My artistic vision!

Well that's a damn fine piece of practice. I want to see more.

Report on pre-release sample of Virginia Cream

Yikes, I'm going to have to grab some up the second time it is stocked as I am not nearly fast enough for the first release of anything. But I'll eventually have some.

A New Pipe, and a New Pouch

    Fantastic work!

    Thoughts about Vest Pocket Pipes?

I have a Savanelli Roley that I've owned for about 3 years. This thread made me finally fire it up and see how it smokes. Not very well, it turns out. I am a fan of nose warmers and short pipes but this design is highly flawed, especially the sharp bend in the stem that makes it impossible to...

Neeeeeeat. This is going to be fun!

    Pinch Drunk Blend

That's a nice pipe! I like doing some drunk blending myself, unfortunately mine are often failures.

    New Neerup Pipe - Question

I'm very happy you were able to fix the problem. I have been looking at Neerup pipes for a couple of years and really like the designs and finishes.

    Erinmore Flake

I've been smoking pipes for about 10 years and I still haven't tried that one. The flakes do look delicious, I might have to give it a go soon.

    THE BITE

I second the Mac Baren warning! That stuff burns me every time.

    Aro with Vitamin N

I agree with the suggestions to try the coconut twist from Gawith & Hoggarth. I have also tried beefing up some week aro's with 5 brothers as well, often with success.

If God (or ... your wife, or etc) would destine you to have ONLY ONE tobacco.

As I don't believe in gods or destiny and my wife doesn't issue commands I would just continue to smoke whatever I please.

Gandalf's Staff Is His Pipe Holder

I found a modern version, for waaaay too much money. It's kind of neat though. Pipe/cane This one is pretty rad.

Samuel Gawith / Gawith Hoggarth Merger Confirmed: Exclusive Interview

Interesting. I hope the fantastic tobaccos from each house goes unchanged.

    Germain's: Plum Cake

Plum Cake was one of the strangest blends I've tried. I loved it, but it was strange. I also recommend Brown Flake if you can find it.

A Year In, The Collection Thus Far (Pics)

Very nice. When I was a year in I had some really nice ones, but a majority were pretty crappy. Some of the crappy ones I still have, though.

    Perique Booze on 'Booze Traveler'

That's crazy! If it does get approved I will definitely give it a try.

Shined up a few this weekend.......6 pics

Nice work. I especially like the cob on the bottom. It looks like a rare find.

    Astley 109

This was one of the first tinned tobaccos I ever smoked. I loved it as soon as I opened the tin. I didn't know pipe tobacco came in the form of a belt at that time and it amazed me. I think it's still one of my favorite tins, though it may be a sentimental thing.
