Thanks Anthony for typing it out for those of us (or maybe just myself) who want to know the method but don't really feel like watching a video!

Opening a 10 Year Old Sealed Mason Jar

If the jars are packed well, it should all be fine. Afterall, jars are being shipped around the world on a regular basis. Just remember to get a fragile sticker or a few of them on the package, and have it insured. This usually ensures that the post office staff don't play football with your...

Looking for special year 2013 and 2016 tobaccos

Hello fellow forum members, I have been on the lookout for special and exceptional tobacco made in years 2013 and 2016, both having a very significant meaning in my life. The first being the year i met my love, and the second being the year our dearest child was born. Happy to hear all your...

    Daddy's Helper and Friend

My one and a half year old loves playing with the tamper. (Which may explain its sudden disappearance.) One day, before the tamper disappeared, he took it and started gently tamping the unlit pipe i was holding. He did it with great care and in a clockwise direction as i always do. I was amazed!!

    Online Tobacco Orders

What do Samuel Gawith tins go for these days? I am guessing not the giddy heights of Germain's prices.

    Mouldy Pipe Anyone? [Pics].

I know he did, i was just supporting his decision to do so. I mentioned the leather dye because a few months ago, there were 3 items that had mould starting to grow on them. 1) Leather bag 2) Leather wrapped pipe 3) Rusticated pipe So i made an assumption from this observation. Of course, i...

    TAD For Your Future Self?

I cellar 3 tins of a blend at each time. If i really like something, i buy another 3 tins. If i find a blend to be truly magnificent, then i double it up. Well, i make it a baker's dozen actually. My tastes don't necessarily change, but i go through seasons. Some short, some long. But i enjoy...

    Mouldy Pipe Anyone? [Pics].

I have noticed that mould/mold likes to grow on leather. Leather products use leather dye. And if i am not mistaken, pipemakers use leather dye on rustication work. This could be the reason why the rusticated part of the pipe was fully covered, and the smooth part stayed clear. If this is true...

    Aroma Inside without Smoking Inside

I have an idea... Use an oil diffuser. The heat (whether it be from the candle or electricity) should release the aromas of the tobacco without creating any smoke. I know this can be done for fragrant woods like agarwood. If it doesn't work out the first time, try grinding the tobacco to a finer...

    My New Pipe Tobacco Shredder

Understood. I have 2 reasons that i want to get a shredder. 1) To shred whole leaves for the pipe. 2) To shred pipe tobacco for RYO or injection cigarette tubes. This is to help encourage those who smoke cigarettes to smoke more natural and tastier tobacco. (How much or often the shredder will...

    My New Pipe Tobacco Shredder

Hello, sorry to breathe life into an old thread, but how is the shredder holding up? Is it still the best one out there? I plan to use this for pipe tobacco, but some around me may want to use it for rolling tobacco. What is the largest cut that would work for rolling tobacco? Thank you.
