Deleted Account With 28353 Reviews On TR.Com

JimInks: Thank you for taking the time to email the site admin and keeping us all in the loop. It truly is unfortunate... and somewhat inelegant what has happened. Since you have so many reviews under your name, are you now considering including your TR.com account in your last will and...

Deleted Account With 28353 Reviews On TR.Com

Is there a way to change how this works? As it stands now, some years down the road, most of the reviews will be anonymous. I'm sure many of us have found some reviewers spoke to us more than others, and it is nice to then seek out more reviews from that same particular reviewer. But now...

Why merge all of them into a single entity? A strange system. Far too spiritual for a tobacco review site, no? ;{p

Nice work there! How about just an oil and beeswax finish? Keeps the wood alive and breathing, and no toxic fumes to spoil your tobacco.

Make A Little Birdhouse In My Soul

Wow... Beautiful and quaint. I would keep it. Animal friends trusting us enough to build in our homes. We have to honour that trust.

    According tea(s) to tobacco(s)

Cool... Do try other Wu Yi teas when you have the opportunity. Or if you are ever in Malaysia, drop by and i'll brew some tea for you. Looking forward to your Yi Xing tea pots!

    According tea(s) to tobacco(s)

Ah... I also have some yixing jars, those are good for keeping younger teas. But for the aged teas, i prefer porcelain. Experiment and see. I did, and my findings led to my preferences. I would love to see your collection of yixing pots. If you have never tried any Wu Yi rock tea, i would be...

    According tea(s) to tobacco(s)

Nice looking tea corner you have there. Do you use ceramic or porcelain containers for your tea? If not, i would encourage you to try one for a tea you are already familiar with. It is very interesting how the container affects the tea. I am curious if anyone here uses ceramic or porcelain...

    According tea(s) to tobacco(s)

If anyone wants to talk tea, i am happy to do so any time. I find many similarities between drinking tea and smoking pipe tobacco, especially if you are brewing tea the traditional way with a small tea pot.

    According tea(s) to tobacco(s)

I love tea. My favourites are aged raw pu erh, Wu Yi rock tea, and liu bao. Even better are these from old or ancient trees, or wild trees. As far as pairing goes, i find raw pu erh and virginias harmonise well. Rock tea and oolongs with latakia blends. Glad to see that there are others out...

Why Are You Up So Late?

I too used to enjoy the tranquility of the late night and dawn. Now we have to follow the timing of our child. Because if we don't, exhaustion and all that comes with it will descend upon us! I do think that those of us who prefer the quiet of the night are victims of modern society though...

    Perique Liqueur

It is a local fermented paste. And i guess you have read a bit about it by now. It is used sparingly in cooking. Sometimes not so sparingly. Hahaha! It is very popularly used in the making of sambal, a spicy chilli paste. It tastes much better than it sounds. We love it!

    TAD Therapy

Part of the reason that we buy so much is because of our curiosity to taste blends that we haven't yet. This part of TAD can be solved by trading tobacco with others. However, another problem arises when we taste trades we really like and want to stock up. Hahaha!

    The Esudodacity of Him!

What were the odds of firstly stumbling upon another pipesmoker... and then that said pipesmoker having the same tin as you?! Life is full of these seemingly improbable situations. Thanks for sharing! Made me laugh. Hahaha!
