    Agree with sable! Give it a few years in the bag and then at least a few months after cut then sealed again. It will turn into something wonderful. And I would suggest smoking it in a small and not too deep a bowl with a smaller drill siz.

    Frank, Mathias Dittmar made about 3-5 pipes in 2017 I guess. So keep close updated on his Facebook and instagram posts. Usually they were gone the moment right after he posted. And +1 on the sandblast over smooth...particularly I hate "straight grain" pipes, so boring ...

    Alan, the puppy was a son of my dog (Swedish lapphund) and a neighbor's Samoyed... that pic was taken in the pipe store where I bought that Toku bamboo pipe. This is his dad. I call him "Little White" ... :lol:

    Thanks fellas for the encouraging words! Constantly when I was carving I got immediately clear that something could have been better done. It was great fun to make something from scratch and I am scratching :)
