    Grandfathers Pipe Restore?

    Thanks for the advice. I will keep the pipe as a momento and not use it. The ironic part is I just acquired the pipe from my Uncle (his son) and in the very early ‘70’s my Grandfather gave me a zippo lighter which I always kept. I will now have both on my shelf.

    #5 - I‘m lucky. Where I am currently staying they have Well water and the bacteria just intensifies the flavor. #8 - I prefer Mapp Gas as the black smoke melds beautifully with the white tobacco smoke which also intensifies the flavor.

    Thanks for the recommendation. It’s ironic what you stated in your last sentence as I have become a big believer in that in the last couple of years. I build large wooden model ships and WWII dioramas and had this sign made up that sits in my model room.
