***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

Finished my day yesterday with a bowl of my own blend, Faulkner 509!! Don't be too impressed, lol, it is just Faulkner Flake from The Country Squire mixed 50/50 with Blend 509 from the old Nat Sherman Metropolitan Tabac line. (original watercolor by Arthur Lopes, 2020)

I picked up this Savinelli Miele 128 from The Country Squire's IPSD sale (trying to help out Raptor Steve on this one). Broke it in tonight with a bowl of John Cotton's Double Pressed Virginia.

Best Way To Clean Up Rim Darkening?

Yes, and you would think after 20+ years of smoking a pipe- "Don't fill it all the way to the top" would be an obvious way to avoid rim charring that I would already know... but my mental response was still "Oh, yeah, that's probably a good idea."

    Proper Pipe Club etiquette.

I am OK with the idea of "price of admission" as long as it fits your budget at the moment. If someone is younger, with kids, and maybe their sweetheart is less than thrilled with the pipe smoking to begin with, then I get not pushing your luck by dropping $50 on a couple of tins of tobacco...
