Thanks for the info, Dan. BTW, PM or email me your return address so I can get your pipe back to you.

    Wayne Teipen Heritage Line

Thanks for the plug peckinpahhombre. And thanks for the kind words from others. The bowls that I am currently using for the Heritage line are fraised by Luca Di Piazza of Luciano pipes/Neatpipes.com. I send Luca a prototype and he fraises the bowls based on my prototype. I am also using a...

    Straight Razors

I can recommend the Dovo Bismark. I think I paid around $125 for it and it provides a fantastic shave every time.

New Pipes from Chicago Pipe Show

It's was great meeting you Winton.

    Chicago Questions

It's hit or miss on vendors accepting credit but more and more are. As mentioned, it's best to bring a bit of cash for those that don't. I don't like to carry a lot of cash on me. For the record, I accept Paypal and credit cards at the show. :D

The inclusion of a pipe makes everything better...

That's quite possibly one of the funniest things I've watched.

    Pipemaking--Freehand Drilling

Jeff, I picked up one of your 11/16" spoon bit from Premal and drilled with it today. It drilled better than any other spoon bit I've used. I was amazed and will be picking up the other sizes.

    Third Hand Smoke . . .

I wouldn't blow what's going on with "third hand smoke" off. They're serious. A major hospital in downtown Indianapolis made a policy banning third hand smoke. Any employee coming to work smelling of tobacco smoke can be sent home and disciplined up to termination. It's completely ridiculous.

    Chicago Pipe Show 2014 Tables

I'll be there with a table. Can't wait! I'm planning on unveiling a new line of economical pipes at the show.

Escudo vs. Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls.

My experiences have been that they are different. I prefer DNR because it is sweeter to my tastes. Not sure why but it is.

    Tenon Came Out of Bit

I would contact the maker. Unless they are lousy scoundrels, they will fix it for free in addition to knowing they need to do better. This is the primary reason I typically don't use Delrin. It's so slippery that glue doesn't stick to it. That's why you have to have grooves cut on both the...

Retort Results - This Is Why We Sanitize

That's a relatively clean one. I often get pitch black returns.

    Opinions About a Peterson?

I sold off all but two of my Peterson's. One that I kept was an Irish Harp 80s. I kept it BECAUSE of the acrylic "Cumberland". I really like the material. So much so that I purchased some of the rod stock to make stems out of.

    Favorite Bourbon Whiskey?

I've been really enjoying Baker's 7 year lately. Good stuff.

    Strangest Blend You've Ever Smoked.

For me it's Semois, Shortcut to Mushrooms, then Firedance flake in order of weirdness. I didn't hate any of them but the tastes were very strange to me.

    Favorite Factory Pipes?

Under $200 (heck, under $100) for me it would have to be: 1. Stanwell 2. Savinelli 3. There is no #3 in my collection. I have a couple Pete's left over after I sold what I had off only because I like the way they look. [/hidesunderchair]

    Photographing Pipes

I picked one up just like it off of ebay a few years back. It's not the best but it gets the job done well enough. I think I paid $25 bucks for it.

    Photographing Pipes

I have the same light box kit as you have. I'll have to check out the software. I'd love to be able to hook up directly to my laptop. Another option for amazing definition is to use a micro lens and stack focusing.
