    Yuk!!

I like nightcap & early morning, but don't go out of my way to have them. Never dried them, and enjoy them in a larger bowl. I tend to enjoy stronger tobacco though.

    Smoking Weather

It has to be Autumn for outdoors, also early morning or late evening in the summer. It doesn't get to hot or very dry here often, but I do enjoy a smoke outside when I can! I suppose for me it's more about the absence of rain that decides where I smoke, as such it's been mostly indoors this year!!

    Gratitude

Got to agree with the sentiment, I don't normally bother with forums due to negativity and in fighting. Obviously this is the exception. I always enjoy checking on the forum, seeing what you guys (& gals) are up to. The generosity and kindness I have found here keep me coming back, and learning...

    Tins or Mason Jars???

To be honest I just leave it in the tin, but then I tend to smoke it once I open it! So ageing is never an issue. I have to agree with Jud, ifbthevtin is unopened store it as is, unless you are concerned about corrosion due to damage or condition. If you open it and decide to age it then place...

    My first pipe.

My first pipe was a gift from my grandad, so I think I will always keep it, just don't smoke it a lot, it's not "high end" but it has nice memories associated, so it's special occasions and only his favourite tobacco goes in it. One of the few areas in life I am sentimental

    Creative uses for empty tins?

Coasters, cat treats, cuff links and dead matches & ash when I'm on the move. Nothing very creative! I use some of my round tins for data storage archives (mini DVD/CDs) and cables but basically just used in their primary function.. as storage! The rest get recycled

My Sons and I Had Fun Making This!!!

Good idea, and a good use of an old cigar box!

How long have you been smoking a pipe?

Since the summer of 1994, I was 13 when I started. Have had some no smoking breaks in that time but always seem to end up back with the pipe.

He Should Have Hidden That Expensive Pipe from the Wife

My limit is £80 per pipe, I usually stick around that. While I don't think spending more would prompt a bad reaction, I would cry my leg off! I have enough expensive hobbies

    A Sign of the Times.

We haven't gone that far yet here (UK/Ireland), the only outdoor site we can't smoke on are hospitals & govt buildings. I have non smoking friends who complain about "running a gauntlet" of smokers outside pubs etc but here is hoping it doesnt stretch to parks, streets or beaches.

    E-readers. Use 'em? Love 'em?

I use iPad & iPhone for reading. Apps like kindle or iBooks keep me busy. But also read and annotate a lot of PDFs for work in goodreader. I like the flexibility of the iPad as I can jump between a good book/document and this forum!

    Beeswax

As a scuba diver I would also suggest your local dive store! That's where I got mine, but it's a block. You may have to buy more pipes to use it up!

You must be a pipe smoker

When pouring a drink the primary concern is what would be the best wash for the tobacco your smoking When buying a back pack for biking the focus is on safe pockets for your pipe, and your phone gets chucked in with everything else
