To Bristle Or Not To Bristle: A Poll

I have only used the bristled cleaners to date and am about ready to order more. Just wondering if you all think the bristles are necessary or not. I am a little tired of them poking fingers when I clean my pipes. I couldn't find any info on this topic in the search function so though it might...

    Pot Shaped Bowl Question

Jacknife plug cubed up smoked very well in it! Next I will try Old Dark Fired and then some triple play and see how they work out. Thank you so very much for your generosity and the tip! p.s. The downfall is that the bowl is big for a nic heavy weed, could barely finish it :)

    Pot Shaped Bowl Question

I have a Charatan with a rather big bowl opening, it measures 1"x1 1/4." So far all I have tried in this new to me pipe is some #1 Balkan by McClellen and am wondering if a certain type of baccy smokes better in a pot. I think the VA in the Balkan burned a little hot in the wide open chamber...

Are there glass pipes for actual tobacco?

I would like to actually see the tobacco in the chamber. It would be interesting to take pics of the bowl loaded using different techniques, I think it would be a really "cool" teaching tool.

    Pipe rotation

I am blessed enough to have two pipes for each day of the week and a half dozen cobs. Each pipe gets smoked 2-3 times per day and then rested til the next week when they come back up in rotation. Over coffee in the morning I clean yesterdays pipes. I am just now getting enough pipes to dedicate...

    My Favorite Pipe

@colcolt: I have two great little dogs and I don't know what I would do without them. They pretty much sit with me all day and I even take one of my little guys for short walks around the block. The little buggers don't care what mood I am in or how much I hurt, they just love their Daddy!

    MM Grab bag

There was a thread not too long ago about the grab bags. If I remember right the fella was pleased with them and had good things to say about the "flaws."
