Smoking Entire Bowl
I smoke as far down as I can. If the bottom doesn't relight properly after 3 attempts I dump it. Because then there's either no tobacco left, or it's too wet to smoke.- didimauw

Christmas Pipes Question
I bought a Peterson 2012 Christmas 999 new. They were perfect for me in that the only thing that made those "Christmas" were the tiny Christmas trees stamped on the nickel bands. I understand red and green are Christmas colors, but I don't care for them on my pipes. -

Yup I agree with the acetone. Get rid of it all. Then if able put some caranauba on it. I had a Rossi do the same thing. It looked so much better afterwards.- didimauw
