Ideal Size and Form of a Peterson P-Lip Bit

So you dont like the rounding then? I almost want to put my smooth rounded acrylic plip stem into my silver spigot, but the draw is off then haha.

Ideal Size and Form of a Peterson P-Lip Bit

I first got a 314 system standard with the acrylic plip. It took me a few smokes to get used to a plip to start. Then I bought a silver spigot 314 with a vulcanite stem, and I almost can't even stand that one. The front edge of the plip is so sharp, it bothers me. But the system standard is...

    Bayside Estate Pipe

I like the blast! Personally I'd add a bit more bend to that stem though!

    Christmas Pipes Question

I bought a Peterson 2012 Christmas 999 new. They were perfect for me in that the only thing that made those "Christmas" were the tiny Christmas trees stamped on the nickel bands. I understand red and green are Christmas colors, but I don't care for them on my pipes.

How Hard is it to Burnout a Pipe?

I know the guy you are talking about on the other forum. He decided to share the pipe with members, like a box pass. Everyone would use their own stem. But one member never returned the pipe.

Would You Rather - Pipe/Tobacco Edition

Option 1. The pipe is a peterson 314 system standard. In the early process of working on this IRL as we speak.

Finish Bubbling on Kaywoodie Supergrain 71

It doesn't take much. I used a rag. And it evaporates quickly if you use too much on accident.

Finish Bubbling on Kaywoodie Supergrain 71

Yup I agree with the acetone. Get rid of it all. Then if able put some caranauba on it. I had a Rossi do the same thing. It looked so much better afterwards.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2025?***

Oh man that's amazing! Beautiful pipe, and a clever idea!

Do you keep a journal of your work on pipes?

No, but I save every pipe picture I've ever taken on a large hard drive.
