    French Pipes.

I think maybe Gary was just getting his digs back in at the French, possibly as retribution for some bad pommes-frites.

Tambolaka and Perique in a cob with some apple spice chai--thanks for the reminder, Jason :D

    Straight Tobaccos

Did I tell you I made an ad-hoc BurPer out of that Tambolaka and some Jewel of St. James Perique, Jason? It was a flavor explosion, to say the least; made my eyeballs sweat a little! I'm still working on getting a log of it over here for further experimentation. Anyone interested in going in for...

    Straight Tobaccos

I highly recommend sampling straight varieties as a way to educate your palate. Like many, I'd been smoking for years without much of a thought to what was in the bowl. As my interest increased, so did my thirst for information and, consequently, my enjoyment of what I was smoking--not to...

December 2011 - What Are You Smoking?

McClelland Holiday Spirit '11 in the Savinelli Chiara. What an excellent aromatic--not cloying, flavors of pecan & cocoa are spot on with the faintest hint of rum, tobacco is top-notch, and smokes bone dry. Lovely.

December 2011 - What Are You Smoking?

Peterson Holiday 2011 in the Peterson Xmas 2010 billiard. Lovely aroma out of the tin, spot on as candied fruit and cinnamon. The smoke is good, if not brilliant (I always have such high hopes for Petes), and close to the tin aroma. A bit of chemically tang with this one, though not deplorable...

    Savinelli or BC ?

Yes. Seriously, though, whichever one appeals to you more aesthetically should provide plenty of smoking enjoyment.

YelloBole Pipes? Anyone have xperience, ill share mine.

Remember the scene in The Graduate when Mr. McGuire says to Benjamin, "I just want to say one word to you. Just one word. Are you listening? PLASTICS." Well, brylon came along during that great period of innovation that also brought us melmac (not to be confused with ALF's home planet)...
