    Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake

Yeah, but is it produced by a motorcycle momma? That would be cool

Ate Too Much At Arby's. Oh, Deer.

I'll have to see if they have those here. Hopefully the venison isn't local since we only have mule deer that feed on the mountain sage. Like a mouthful of extra gamey sage. I'd love to have some good whitetail from back east again.

    Restoring Old Cobs

I admire those of you with the patience to put time into a cob. When they get gunky or funky I just throw them out and pull another off the shelf

    Pipe Rotation

Good one Duane. It warmed my heart to see that one. In all seriousness. If you smoke 1 bowl per day then 2-3 will get you by fine. Of course more is always better.

    Another Halloween Horror! EEEH!

Cool artwork. Thanks for the Halloween atmosphere.

    Recent OTC Blend Experiences

I find Carter Hall best in a cob when fishing. I don't enjoy smoking it in a briar when sitting and relaxing at home, but that may just be my preferences. I'm spoiled by variety, choices, and great quality tobaccos

    Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake

 Yeah, I've been guilty of that as well. Most of the time, I find it difficult to convey my silly self-deprecating humor in this format, and end up coming off as a bit of a bombastic jerk instead of the goofball I come off as in real life

    Top 3 Underrated Pipe Brands

I'd have to agree with you about Jirsa, Cortez. I bought one 10-12 years ago at my local B&M for about $70 if memory serves. It was always a great smoker and I mourned its loss/sale for a few years until I found it buried recently and have started smoking it again. Great hunk of briar with...

    Drip Wax #1

Wow! The color and finish really compliment the drip wax look. That's probably one of the best looking drip pipes I've ever seen

    Pipe Physics

The funny thing about well engineered high end pipes and low end off center drilling is that, in my experience, both can be great smokers. I have yet to be able to identify why certain pipes smoke well for me and others just never seem to hit their stride. Someone much smarter than me can...

    Stonehenge Flake: My Favorite Dissapointment

I also like Ennerdale and occasionally smoke Bosun when the mood strikes so that may explain why I don't notice it as much I'll try that with the next tin I open. Thanks for the tip!

Welcome back. Glad to hear you're okay.

    Stonehenge Flake: My Favorite Dissapointment

First I'll say that I give this 5/5 stars for my personal taste and 5/5 for an as advertised, flavored VA/Per/Bur. a few years ago, I became aware of this (then) not available blend and was bummed I would not get to try this product of collaboration between two of my favorite blenders. When SF...

Very nice. Your restoration brought out some nice grain

    National Candy Corn Day

I haven't tried that one, but I do like me some candy corn! Of course, I like Velveeta cheese also, so my tastes are really in question

    Top 3 Underrated Pipe Brands

I love Savinelli, but I don't think this popular maker is underrated. I'd have to say: Nording, Morelli, and Radice (not held in as high regard as Cavicci or Castello, but evry bit as good IMO)

Glad you're feeling better. I always enjoy you're posts and seeing you around. That's some great plateau on that sucker!

The (Un)Official Secret Santa 2017 Thread!

Just signed up to join the fun again this year! I like VA,VAPer, VABur, Latakia, light aromatics....anything! I usually go for higher nicotine blends, but am eager to see what my secret santa has in store for me this year. Last year I received a new-to-me blend that has become a favorite. Fun...

    Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake

I am a huge fan of the malty/sweet/bready flavors of this tobacco and am often disappointed when I get a batch with no lakeland flavor. To me the perfect blend of complimentary flavors. If you don't like the "lakeland" floral though I understand how this one might be a turn-off
