    Tobaccos only available in UK?

Does the Davidoff shop have a wide selection of pipe tobaccos or is it just the blends they produce themselves?

    Tobaccos only available in UK?

I hadn’t considered ordering online and having it sent to his hotel. Great suggestion, thank you.

    Tobaccos only available in UK?

Thanks, those both sound like blends I would enjoy. I will add them to the list :)

    Tobaccos only available in UK?

A friend of mine is on his way to London and agreed to bring me back some tobacco. I asked him to get me some Condor, and if he comes across it some Revor plug and some Germain’s Brown flake (or pretty much anything else with their name on it). I told him James J Fox was the best place I could...

    Linkmans Dr Grabow

Definitely. It’s a favorite for quicker smokes. I think WVSS had it dated at 1945, I’ll see if I can confirm that.

I have that pipes twin brother, acquired unsmoked from WVSS some years back.

No push in stinger, if it once had one it was lost along the way before I acquired it. It’s a great smoker, not much of a clencher but I like the more open draw it has.

Thank you. It had been smoked when I got it but maybe only a handful of times. I picked it up along with this push-stem "Export" 23

Best "Bulk" Navy Flake/Straight VA Flake

The sauce has a strong smell when fresh, almost like a cologne type of smell, but is more subdued once lit and doesn’t come through in the taste as much. I think a little age probably helps. It’s possible the batch I got was just a bit heavy handed on the topping. I liked the tin I bought...

Best "Bulk" Navy Flake/Straight VA Flake

Mac Baren Navy Flake can be ordered by the box and is quite good. I find the rum/honey topping to be quite strong on this one though.

Any Peterson 268 Smokers Out There?

I like the donegal finish. It’s not the prettiest but I find it unique, feels good in my hand and dissipates the heat quite well. I like how much it contrasts with the smoothness of the band and stem. The red stain on the peaks of the ridges shows up more when I’m outside in the sunlight.

    What Exactly does Handmade Mean?

I have this Mastercraft stamped "Hand Made" which I figured just referred to the custombilt-esque rustication style (ie. the old kaywoodie "Hand Made" line).

Any Peterson 268 Smokers Out There?

I have this Donegal 268, love it. Clenches effortlessly.

Not sure. It feels original since it’s stamped/recessed into the wood, but also seems a bit too vibrant for such an old pipe.
