I can't find if it is a high converter to nor-nicotine or not, you don't want that in a smoking species. However, all the species except tobaccum and rustica are said to not be very tasty, often with thin leaves that flash dry green instead of color cure.
The more mainstream stuff always says...
A slow gentle draw slowly building to a fast cadence near the end to keep things going, finally resulting in a fully spent receptacle of moist dottle...
(ahem)
(Looks up and around and hurriedly leaves the thread)
I have also been washing my cobs with no repercussions... yet... and would like more detail.
I do have a lot of cobs and likely haven't washed any one a whole lot of times.
I like the way they smoke when they are charred and have a fair amount of cake but the "resinousness" is flushed out. Nice...
Whole leaf guy here as well, with simpler more plebeian tastes maybe. I smoke mostly Burley, but often with a little Bright Leaf (Virginia, flue cured), always with some honey, occasionally other types of leaf with a little Perique.
I press everything for a day or three. Whole leaf molds more...
Everybody's correct. All drugs have cost benefit ratios and all drugs can be rated on a scale for certain costs or benefits.
Let's pick on pot... marijuana is low on the addiction scale, however it can certainly be addicting. We've all known potheads. The benefits on the pain relief scale are...
I much prefer cobs, myself. YMMV. (don't want to be a "thug")
A friend of mine got into refurbishing estates about a year ago. He is someone I have traded for tobacco with and he has given me presents of tobacco. Good guy. So, I actually got all my briars together but one and gave them to him...
I toss the filter after it clogs a bit. It helps a little with those first, less than stellar, smokes in a cob.
After that, no filter. I much prefer the looser draw.
There has always been meth around. They called it crank back then. Crystal was the caviar. Bikers were big crank distributors. Supposedly it was smuggled in crankcases. The big game changer with meth was when the internet promulgated relatively easy recipes to make it at home. That was way after...
40 years ago I did have a short affair with meth, as in a couple months use. Thankfully, I saw the downward trajectory quickly enough. I'm pretty sure I stopped before there was any permanent mznsvd.,gz, jfkscj dbdv.
I have much milder neuropathy and neck issues for which I usually do physical therapy for at least a few months of the year. With being on lockdown here for a few weeks, I indulged for the first time in years for a few days. It was extremely useful. I was able to do some stretches and massages...
Svords are great knives. I think their carbon is hardened a little harder than the Opi's. Strangely enough, they were my EDC for years in a pocket pouch. When I worked as a machinist, I made metal scales for a number of them.
Opinel uses a fine grained 12c27 steel. It takes a fine edge and sharpens as easily as the carbon steel.
The carbon is nice as well, possibly a little on the soft side.
The stainless will take nearly as fine an edge as the carbon, but not quite.
The carbon will roll the edge more easily than the...
That's the worst thing. It essentially ends aging. Wish jerking off did that.
Here's some thoughts.
