***What Are You Smoking, September 2025?***

Been working all day so now it's break time in the hot tub with some Marlin Flake in a Bekler chimney and a really large glass of El Dorado 12 year old rum (so I don't have to get out for a refill):

Be Careful Where You Go For Tequila Tasting

The tequila tasting is a legit place. It's on Isla Cuale in Puerto Vallarta. There's a great Cafe there too. The croc is a completely wild animal that just happened to make a great photo opp.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2025?***

It's not bad but I prefer the Happy Brown Bogie twist. It seems like the extra sweetness makes the dark fired earthiness stronger, at least to me. Some people are really going to like this one. I'm going to try it with a nice scotch next. I think it will make an excellent pairing.

A Little Humor for the Day 2025

CAO Eileen’s Dream - what am I missing?

Personally, I like it. Mine is over 10 years old though, maybe something changed? Or maybe you're smoking it way to hot?

Travel to Mexico City / Smoking Laws

This. I've never had a problem with cigars/pipes in Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Tulum/Cozumel/Puerto Vallarta/Sayulita/Tijuana. Mexico City is slightly different but even there if you are minding your own business at a respectful distance from others you'll likely not have any issues.

    Ok You Smoke A Pipe

I don't understand the question. I guess that's my problem?

    Irish Flake new pipe smoker

What about the aromatic did you not like? Or did you simply not get much flavor?

Travel to Mexico City / Smoking Laws

If you've never been, be aware that Mexico City is generally not a place to be walking around much after dark. It's nowhere near as bad as some people would have you believe and I've not had any problems (I've been in some slightly sketchy places) but it's considered best to just get where...

Travel to Mexico City / Smoking Laws

There's legal and then there's done anyway. You won't see smoking in public or very rarely if you do. There's still legal places you can smoke but you really have to search for them. Many places don't offer smoking areas even though they could. Your best bet is to seek out a cigar...

    St Bernardus Kombine

An unfiltered helles made in collaboration with Weihenstephan. I'm typically not a big fan of helles but I had to try it and I like it. A bit richer/fuller and less sweet than a typical helles.

El Gato Gordo in Puerto Vallarta

I just had a cigar and several glasses of different Cuban rums:

    Tres Tripel Comparison!

Doing a little direct comparison taste test tonight. The Orval is great but the St. Bernardus is noticeably better. The Tre Fontane is on another level.
