    I've been at the lake since the 5th of January (went home for Super Bowl weekend and Daytona 500). I'm also looking forward to warmer weather. I think it's about here.... gonna be 65 today and in the 70's for the next several days.... The crappie are starting to bite up shallow near the bank!

    Considering Buying a Meerschaum Pipe...

    Smoking a meerschaum in cold weather is really no problem... but you don't want to heat it up quickly. One thing you need to be careful of is wind. I had one crack and blow-up in my face years ago while walking back to the barracks in a steep wind.

    As a smoker and collector... I guess I have 300+. I have my favorites, and some I don't plan to smoke. But it's kinda cool to re-find a pipe once in a while and enjoy it for the first time all over again.

    White Glove Dunhill

    Love that pipe! I've always liked large pipes, but the price tag is hard to swallow. I've never bought a new Dunhill, all mine are estate pipes.
