One Aromatic to Rule Them All???
I go to Lane BCA a lot and have a pouch mixed half and half with Butternut Burley. Now I'm going to have to try Old Toby. In general, I don't like fruit flavored blends and threw away a Cherry flavor one time. It sort of stuck in my throat. It's all about what you like.- tulsagentleman

Advice requested - Pete Meer 302?
I'm thinking of bidding on a Meerschaum Peterson 302 on Ebay. It looks well smoked but in decent shape. The finish is in a rusticated brown stain that looks rather like a briar. I like Petes and the few Meers I have but would appreciate some expert advice.- tulsagentleman

I have never owned anything but briar pipes until I picked up a Mr. Brog "Old Army 21 with an extra stem from Amazon for $20. I figured that at that price I couldn't go wrong. I went to Pipedia/Peterson and did some reading. The band is nickle and has K&Peterson stamped on it, and beneath that are the Shamrock, Fox and Tower hallmarks described in the article.
