YOU: Stranded On A Deserted Island w/ 1 Pipe and 1 Mixture

Lane BCA in my Peterson 302. That's what's in my profile photo.

One Aromatic to Rule Them All???

I go to Lane BCA a lot and have a pouch mixed half and half with Butternut Burley. Now I'm going to have to try Old Toby. In general, I don't like fruit flavored blends and threw away a Cherry flavor one time. It sort of stuck in my throat. It's all about what you like.

    Luna Spain Very Unique Pipe

I have a Lunar pipe I'm getting ready to restore. Here are links to the photos. Does anyone know anything about the maker? https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ah1f-6mMmq_tvBMwc76BgjUG4Ocl https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ah1f-6mMmq_tvBJn2bf2hoe9fK_d Thank you.

Advice requested - Pete Meer 302?

No, the seller does not, but if not, as described there is an eBay guarantee. If I get it for my modest bid I will try to clean it up and make the best of it. It is rather an unusual pipe, I do like Pertersons and the 302 is one of my favorite shapes. It will be what it will be. I doubt I will...

Advice requested - Pete Meer 302?

I'm thinking of bidding on a Meerschaum Peterson 302 on Ebay. It looks well smoked but in decent shape. The finish is in a rusticated brown stain that looks rather like a briar. I like Petes and the few Meers I have but would appreciate some expert advice.

    Great Pipes from Non-Traditional Places

I have never owned anything but briar pipes until I picked up a Mr. Brog "Old Army 21 with an extra stem from Amazon for $20. I figured that at that price I couldn't go wrong. To my surprise and delight, it's a great smoker and a good looking pipe in the bargain. Not bad at all, and surely worth...

Dunhill Ranking - Which One's the Most Iconic?

I have always liked Nightcap although it's not my daily smoke. I have one unopened tin left after the one I'm working on. You guys with the vast cellars of tobacco have a bigger purse than I do. :)

    Ebay Treasure

Regardless of its pedigree, after running 5 bowls of Lane BCA through it I can tell you it's a great smoker. I'm bidding on another now. I don't think you can go wrong with a Peterson.

    Ebay Treasure

I went to Pipedia/Peterson and did some reading. The band is nickle and has K&Peterson stamped on it, and beneath that are the Shamrock, Fox and Tower hallmarks described in the article. The back of the bowl says Peterson System Standard 312, above that in smaller letters is Made in the...

Peterson Sherlock Holmes Baker Street Bulldog

What a beautiful Bulldog. I'm jealous. I have a lot of pipes and quite a few good ones, but the best smoking pipes I own are Peterson System P-lips. They never disappoint.

    Spigots? I'm Confused

I'd like to add a spigot to my collection, but they are expensive!

    A Savinelli for Valentine's Day.

The heart-shaped pipes are best re-gifted to an obnoxious brother-in-law. Fugly!
