    Which Tobacco to Try Next

We all face the same problem in what tobacco(s) to try next. So many to choose from, no idea where to go next! I have sometimes followed the advice of other pipe smokers here on PSD and other forums as well, only to find that their tastes are quite different from mine! So what I did, was go to...

Since Frog Morton is no more....

If I were you, I'd keep at least 1 of them. You don't know what you're missing if you don't at least try it. Of course, everyone has their own taste(s), but (IMHO) you'll be passing up a chance to experience one of the greatest opportunities in pipe smoking history! :-)

Since Frog Morton is no more....

My supply of Frog Mortons (On the Town, On The Bayou, Cellar, Across The Pond) are about to run out. Since these were basically the only blends of these types that I ever smoked, and I'm don't possess the connoisseur tasting qualities that some of you do, (nor do I have the resources to buy 100...

    Old Time Pipe Tobacco Commercials

I thought that this might be an interesting topic to tackle. For so many that have smoked for so long, these should bring back some memories.Post your favorites. I'll start this one off to start with, but I hope that you'll keep 'em coming...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lvpIW9EunY

Jim's 43 years of Pipe Smoking.

Congratulations Jim.... If you remember way back when, on another forum, I mentioned you as one of the most Famous Pipe Smokers. Now, I would confirm that more than ever. Move over William Conrad, Fred...

    All Hail 4noggins!

My favorite also. I always liked ( and still do) Pipes & Cigars, but since they moved to PA, we PA residents now have to pay sales tax.

Vintage Kaywoodie Filter Pipe Looking For Info

Looks like a nice piece of briar.

    Dr. Grabow or Parker

If you're going to have to pay around $15.00 for shipping, I would check Ebay first. You should be able to find a nice Parker or Grabow (or other good brand) for that price, and perhaps get more pipe for your money.

Lost Savinelli Filters.. Can I Still Smoke?

You don't need the filter or the adapter, but I think that you could find them on Pipes and Cigars website if you need or want them.

    Best and Worst Pipes

Despite what you paid for your pipes, whether $1.00 or $100.00, what are your best and worst smoking pipes?

    Lowest and Highest Nicotine Content

The last thing I want in a pipe tobacco is nicotine. Perhaps some of you more experienced pipe smokers can point out some of the best and worst tobaccos for nicotine, as well as which low nicotines might have the best taste.

    Selling on ebay

I have 5 new pipes on Ebay right now. You need to do some research on the brand of pipe, as well as it's condition, and what you paid for it in the first place. bigvan gave you some good advice. If you think that you can sell it at a reasonable price and make a few dollars,go for it. Just don't...

    Removing finish

Some of my older pipes are starting to lose the finish on them. I'd like to just strip off the remaining finish, leaving the natural wood, and then polish them with wax. My question is what type of stripper should I use? I don't want to use just anything that might be too harsh on the pipe.

    Help identify Masterbilt Pipe

I have a brand new pipe that I want to list on EBay. When I bought it, it came in a Gefapip box, so I didn't look closely enough to notice that it wasn't a Gefapip. It is a nice, thick walled pipe, with a beautiful grain pattern. The only markings on the pipe are 'Masterbilt Imported Briar'. I...

    Small coffee grinder for tobacco

The best suggestion is the 'slapchop', or other hand operated choppers. Pampered Chef also makes a nice one. By using the hand chopper, as opposed to an electric one, you'll have better control over the tobacco and how coarse or fine you want it.
