Trying to Get Help with a Russian Blend

Hmmm .. russian or not I can remember a package, yellowish brown with a witch type of character drawing on the front. The characters were Latin, not chyrilic ... any road, thanks for the input, guys. I really can't place this whole baba yaga thing right now, hopefully I will get to the bottom...

Trying to Get Help with a Russian Blend

We were having a discussion tonight on an online club meeting, talking about Russian blends. It may be a possibility for us to get some from Chișinău, Republic of Moldavia. I remember a distant conversation I had with someone who recommended a blend called Baba Yaga, and for some reason I simply...

Calling Out on IMCO Owner for Advice

Mine was made out of some sort of hemp like material. This is another reason I am suspecting it is fugazy. A pic may help, fake or not it is still a good lighter, so I am looking for solutions. What better starting point than the original? Bullet may have a point with the cotton. When I bought...

Calling Out on IMCO Owner for Advice

I get what you are saying, guys, but on an imco coiling is not possible as the fuel well is rather small in diameter. Unlike the zippo which is rectangular, and rather wide, the imco is cylindrical with an about 1cm diameter. Although perhaps cutting the wick and not inserting it whole may do...

Calling Out on IMCO Owner for Advice

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) I had this IMCO (well, I am not sure whether it's the real deal or some cheap DDR copy) and the fuse went out rather fast. I replaced it with a zippo fuse, and in the process I had to remove the cotton from the gas well. Since it was an old...

    Tea And Pipes

I like me a good cup of tea with my pipe, usually black - straight black, a Ahmad Tean no#1 English, or an Earl Gray or Darjeeling. Not too late at night though, during the winter I may have something less "keep you up at night" blend in the evenings..

Looking for Information About L. Vuitton Pipes

Wow ... I though that Louis Vuitton was a ladies luxury purse maker, and other fashion related ... stuff.

    Samuel Gawith - Hansom Flake

Has anybody had this? What is it? I think it's a new blend ... I saw the pic in another forum, and I captured it with my phone screenshot function. I wasn't able to find a review on tobaccoreviews.com, heck it's not even listed there. So I thought to ask y'all knowledgeable people.

    Calvados

My mother in law lives in Normandy, next to a little calvados distilery near deauville. The french are by far the best i have tried so far in distilling apples. It's not bad, especially the more expensive ones, but personally I do prefer grapes to apples.

Is BC Pipes Still In Business?

MSO, I don't think the BC Factory is in any batter shape,it's just that they had a lot of product on the market. I don't know about other EU countries but in Romania they are not very sought after. Some models are in my local b&m shelves for years. In fact in Germany I never saw a pipe of theirs...

    Before and After

Ballistol, huh? I always keep a canister for my hunting guns, although I do prefer Hopes no. 9. It never crossed my mind to use ballistol on a pipe, although it does say on the canister that it is recommended for wood, not to mention that I sometimes used it with great results on wooden parts of...

Manly, Old School, New School, Aftershaves and More

I think this whole beard oil thing is relatively new. I have a bottle myself, but only use it when my beard gets long enough in between barber shop visits, and I use it for practical purposes. I have a very curly, rough beard, that when it grows a bit it stays sideways no matter how much I comb...
