    First the PAD

Digging that Nording. They do really cool freehand semi-rustics. Nice grab. 8)

Just ordered a mr brogg pear pipe

Wow, that's really cool Mr. Brog! I'll definitely be purchasing one of your pipes next week as i'm over my spending limit for this week  A question i'd like to ask however about the pear wood pipes, is it possible to do rustication on this type of wood? or sandblast? I like rough finishes...

    Another question about cake.

I honestly prefer a spice cake with some sort of glaze instead of icing 8) To answer seriously, I'm sort of in the same boat as Dongreyface as in I don't smoke all day long. I get maybe 2 smokes per day in. Cake build-up is a slow process for me. After a smoke, I basically leave the bowl alone...

    Where to get Boswell tobacco

Unfortunately, it seems the only way to get any is to order directly from them. Inconvenient for us (the customer) but i'm sure it works out better for them cutting out a middle man.

Just pre-loaded Skyrim on my steam

schmitzbitz: I totally know what you mean! I'll get a few hours into a character and think "ya know, i'd really rather do this instead" and make a new character. Then again, and again. It's a disease I think.

    Drink and Pipe

Some type of cold tea. Green, black, etc. Don't really drink much beer anymore, but when I do, it's not Dos Equis 8) Single Malt scotch: Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Balvenie, Arberlour, etc. depending on the blend i'm smoking of course. Recently, some Balvenie 15yr single cask and a bowl of Old Gowrie...

Just pre-loaded Skyrim on my steam

I'm going straight to Gamestop after work tomorrow night. Probably freeze outside with a few dozen other nerds and play skyrim till the wee hours of the morning. I'll definitely be starting with a Nord warrior. Haven't decided on two-handed weapons or an axe/shield combo. Been rolling Nords...

To All eBay Pipe Buyers Out There

On that plastic pipe withnail posted a link to, did anyone else notice this line in the description: "-made of high-quality special materials. Not contain any harmful objects." excellent! I prefer my pipes to be made of high-quality special materials. Sign me up 8)

    Pipe Show Haul

I'm totally digging that "nosewarmer dublin poker" by Scott Thielle. The color scheme is just cool. The burgundy/redish bowl, stark white band and brown stem are right up my alley. Definitely jealous here

    Suggestions please!

You could try some of the GL Pease blends that have cigar leaf in them. Key Largo and Robusto are the two that come to mind. They might be good transitional blends for you to sate your cigar craving.

Just ordered a mr brogg pear pipe

Check out the Puella #45. They certainly have some interesting designs and shapes going on. I gotta stop looking at their darn store! I've already bought 3 pipes this week!

Just ordered a mr brogg pear pipe

That'd definitely be an excellent "hunting pipe" then. The cap should keep all manner of brush and vegetation out of your baccy while tracking down those bunnies :-) The pipes are cheap enough to be considered knock-around pipes as well.

Just ordered a mr brogg pear pipe

I was scoping out that windcap pipe they're offering. It looks really cool but its just not my style 8) I may break down and get the Kentucky number 48 I think its called. Im slightly confused with how they name/designate some of their pipes.

    New pipes tastes bad...Why?

Ok, got a new Eriksen by Nording in the mail yesterday. When I got home I loaded her up with some Old Gowrie and lit up. Well, when I bit down on the stem it tasted a little funny, and through the course of the first half of the bowl the smoke tastes horribly sour and astringent. Immediately...

    Vauen tobacco

Hmm, the Black Pepper one and the Expresso one sound cool to me. Never heard of em. Those guys need to work on their descriptions for sure!

    Drug store favorites

Paladin Black Cherry... I really wish I could have tried this. I purchased a pouch of this about a week ago at my local Ingles doing some grocery shopping. Of course, the immature child that I am, I couldn't wait till I got home to open the pouch and have a sniff. So I opened it up in the car...

    New pipes tastes bad...Why?

I just bought a Peterson Rock of Cashel 408 a few weeks ago and had absolutely no taste issues. Maybe only certain lines are/were dip stained? That's a little disheartening for me to hear. I'm sure i'm not the only one here with a very small pipe budget and buying a Peterson is a luxury. If I...

    Drug store favorites

Having tried Prince Albert and Captain Black in the white pouch, I decided to pick up Carter Hall to add to my Tour of OTC's. Just finished my first ever bowl of this and it totally hit the spot. First smoke of the day, early morning, nothing fancy or demanding. Just plain good. I'm almost...

    Filters and Corn Cobs

When I purchased my first cob, I probably smoked 4 or 5 bowls before removing the filter. To me the draw just felt more restricted than I would have liked. It takes a little practice on packing it right and puffing on it light enough to stop from inhaling ash and bits of baccy. Without the...
