***What Are You Smoking, July 2023?***

Breaking in this lovely Savinelli with some 2020 Sun Bear. Trying to keep in the honey theme and dedicate this pipe to that blend and all it’s iterations.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2023?***

Firing up this Vauen Woog for the first time. Didn’t wanna break it in with anything expensive so put in some trusty Green Dragon from The Country Squire.

From Man's First Moonwalk to Today...

Too bad nowadays some people probably look back at the Apollo missions with disdain for a lack of DEI hires.

Kentucky Man Unearths Hundreds of Civil War Era Gold Coins Worth Millions

Just curious. In theory wouldn’t currency of a stated value, found in the country that guarantees that value, be worth exactly that stated value? Like if I passed down a one dollar bill to my children and they did theirs and so forth, could the US really say it’s ever worth more than one dollar...

In What Year were You Born?

Lol. Duly noted. You must have been a Power Rangers guy and not a Ninja Turtles guy. Btw. I didn’t PM someone because we had the same year, we had other things in common and that happened to be another one. I usually only have things in common with friendly people :).

In What Year were You Born?

Entry July 20, 2023: AJL67 revealed himself to be hostile. Likely old, and certainly bitter. Add to elimination list.

In What Year were You Born?

Hello Folks. I saw on another thread people excited they shared the same birth year and I was excited when someone I have a PM chat with shared mine. I thought others might think it fun to see who they had that in common with. My thoughts are reply with your year and the people that give it a...

    All Flames Equal?

I hope you put those organs back where you found them! What is a pipe insert for the zippo and where do I get them?

    All Flames Equal?

Thanks for all the input gents. I have a zippo a friend gave me that needs to be filled but maybe I’ll get around to that soon . I also have a beautiful green peterson lighter, but even the thought of wind seems to put it out, so I can’t really use it as I smoke outside. A few seconds of tasting...

    All Flames Equal?

I usually use a bic type lighter and usually don’t have issues but noticed lately that as the flame got smaller I had to use more relights. Now that the ones I have are dead, I used a match and got a much longer smoke before needing another. Could have been the tobacco pipe combo, but was...

    Wills Cut Golden Bar

Lol. Not French, Lebanese which was ruled by France for a bit so does that count. Here’s a recent photo.

    Wills Cut Golden Bar

That’s an interesting point. They do the same in wine. They should adopt the same regulations though. For a wine if it has 75% or more of a single varietal you don’t need to list the other 25%. And similarly they often adjust the ratio of “support” grapes in the name of consistency.
