    Athletic Pipe Smokers

I completely agree with the psychological impact this could be having exacerbating the actual impact, i will try to keep this in mind, thanks.

    Athletic Pipe Smokers

That sounds like a lovely goal. I use to post on Strava as well, but i've removed to the cycling computer with speed, cadence and heart rate monitors and don't use Strava any more (for the moment) because i just want to listen to my body for the time being and have fun, KOM's be damned.

    Athletic Pipe Smokers

Thank you all for the replies, they've all been encouraging. Some seem to mildly confirm my suspicions while others give me hope. I know our bodies all act differently, but i hope those saying more fitness with time may help more than laying off. I think i may try to abstain on days i ride until...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2023?***

Just finished watching the F1 Miami Grand Prix and folded and stuffed some Solani 633 into a paneled Bones. Trying out this method of packing, in the past it's been hard to get an ember going and it's probably too much tobacco in the bowl for the time I have, but c'est la vie.

    Athletic Pipe Smokers

For those of you who are athletic, i'm looking for how you balance your pipe smoking and your physical activities. I'm getting back into mountain biking (i'm in Michigan and realize 'mountain' is in name only, LOL) after a several year hiatus and have become a bowl-a-day smoker over the last...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2023?***

Morning smoke, MB 7 Seas in a MM Hardwood. In the tradition of @Servant King here is my bird report: Seen - Robin, House Sparrow, Common Grackle, Cardinal, Eastern Starling Heard - Red Wing Black Bird, Blue Jay, Morning Dove, Canada Goose

    Refreshing My 1st Pipe

I have a MM Danger as well, but don't smoke it often, it's heavy and I just don't find the proportions or the finish aestheticly nice enough to use often. I've thought about modifying that one as well. The MM Stubby with the red stem looks nice, just haven't pulled the trigger on purchasing one yet.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2023?***

Just started this bowl of Solani 633 in a Bones Skinny Paul, but I might get rained out, been mildly off and on today.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2023?***

Folgers Classic Roast in a 1984 FTD Flowers mug paired with Orlick Golden Sliced in a Tusge Tankered pipe. Nice way to start the month and my 43rd spin around the sun.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

After a couple days of deep house cleaning, relaxing with a bowl of Anomalous in a Novak. I was excited to try the Katerini Perique, but so far (maybe my 4th bowl so far) it just doesn't wow me, at least not in the way Whimsical did.

    Formula 1 (2023)

Ford is partnering with Red Bull Powertrains starting in the 2026 F1 season when the next round of rule changes take place. The powertrains are hybrid systems and the 2026 rules will lean harder on the hybrid system but still use V6 ICE power units. There is a Formula E series that is all...

***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

Finally was able to relax a bit this evening with some Anomalous in a Novak. Think I'm going to like this blend. Tire shop paid to replace the hub with the damaged lug nuts without damaging the wheel yesterday and provided a complete set of new lugs all around. Completed the brakes after work...

    Really dig this pipe rest.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

Trying to relax and de-stress from a hindered brake job with some Geometrie in a Novak. Never in my life have I seen lug nuts shear off like this.

Is Pipe Smoking Fading Into History?

    Agreed, it was a generalization.

Is Pipe Smoking Fading Into History?

I didn't say "i don't believe in hipsters", i know they exist. I have just decided not to judge them. I think someone famous once said "don't judge least ye be judged", but Christ if i could ever remember who...
