    I was smoking a Pesse Canoe 20. Immediately got hit with a sensation as if I was drinking warm sea water. Wet and all. Realized it wasn't the canoe, but my tongue 😞. No briar just biotene for me.

    Looks exactly like my Ropp Algerian minus the Bulldog's signature tapered rim. I had to do a double take on my rack to make sure it was still there! This is one of my many attractions to the pipe smoking world. Just the history behind the briar itself.

    I swear I pulled enough gunk out of my estate Comoy's shank and stem to have a free smoke on the house. If anything it reassured me the pipe was beloved by the last owner. I still couldn't believe the lack of cleaning though.
