I'm a tea drinker, so I used tea leaves, but I can scrounge some coffee grounds from the dumpster outside of the local coffee shop. Will it help balance the blend, or will it make it too wet to smoke right away?- BriaronBoerum

A number of people have gotten hints of Lakeland-like floral flavor popping up even in blends that aren't allegedly topped with it -- I just assume it's the cross pollination, so to speak, that might happen in a small, by-hand blending shop. LJ Peretti - 5 Burley Blends I Ordered
I like both 333 and W, I agree the latter has an interesting, almost chile-like spice note. I sometimes appreciate DD and 102, despite the LJP topping that comes across to me like an American style of Lakeland floral essence. B-94 may be a bit of an under-the-radar blend, it's got a dry spicy...- BriaronBoerum

Most Figgy Blend?
As the holiday season steamrolls over us approaches, thoughts, at least my thoughts, turn to old fashioned desserts. Fruitcake -- yes, though not the cheap artificial-dyed bricks, but a well made example; Jamaican Black Cake; Panettone; weird steamed British puddings -- I love 'em all. So...- BriaronBoerum

Popped a tin of GLP Geometrie to try and decide if I want to buy more on sale, and I found the Cold Steel SR1's tanto blade a nice match for the rhombohedron shape of the plug (yeah, I had to look that up). I think I want some more. But that plug is a b*%! on wheels to shove into a Ball jar!- BriaronBoerum

I had a chance to try some this summer at my local pipe club, and man, was it fine! I asked Ernie Q about it, and he confirmed that it's gone for good unless some quality Orange VA reappears.- BriaronBoerum
