    Well it’s been a day so I’m glad I can load up this new Pete with some Poplar Camp, hang out with my fuzzy pal and listen to some tunes. This guy Billy Strings is an amazing guitar player and plays in that old timey way.

    Great choice on the Merle Haggard. What a voice he had! This is my favorite Merle song. I love how country music can be so glum and yet the underlying music is all major chords hahaha. The lyrics are so direct too. I'm also a big fan of Townes Van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson.
