    Without markings, identifying the carver is near impossible. There were many carvers who crafted pipes in that style.

    I mostly smoke and enjoy bulk tobacco from an assortment of blenders. When I want a special treat (like now, birthday week) I open a tin of something that I‘ve been aging (currently some older Maltese Falcon).

    Reaming a Meerschaum

    I’ve carefully used a Pipnet reamer (“T” handle with four sizes of reamers) on my meers for years with no ill effects.
