    The GM 6.2l L87 Disaster

Electric cars are definitely the future, but despite their advantages they're still below 10% of US auto sales. Some of that is range anxiety, some of it's political, and some of it is due to low residual values. The technical problems will be solved. Ford and GM have demonstrated that they...

    The GM 6.2l L87 Disaster

I about choked when I read that they were recommending 0-40. This reeks of, "Keep the engines running long enough that they reach the end of their warranty before they blow up." Might as well throw in a few bottles of Motor Honey. To have this problem on vehicles that cost $70-100,000 is a very...

Long Term Storage in Tobacco Tin

A friend taught me this trick for keeping tobacco in round tins. Take a plastic sandwich bag (the thin, fold-over type), lay it over the top of the tin so it overhangs on all sides, then screw down the lid. The thin plastic will fill in the threads. LJ Peretti Original Mixture

I really like Original. I can understand why many wouldn't, though. Like so many things in life, it's not for everyone. I think we're very fortunate that, even with the recent losses we've suffered, we still live in a world with such a vast variety of blends.

NHL Playoffs... Who's Watching and Who You Got?

I really thought Kuemper might pull this one out for the Kings. But you're right, they were playing not to lose, and that almost never works in the playoffs.

Cracks and Dings on Estate Pipe

FYI. Bo Nordh (one of the most respected pipe makers prior to his death) was often seen smoking one of his own pipes that had a significant crack down one side. Cracks can make a pipe useless, but they don't always do so.

Which Are the Most Incenselike Blends? ⚗️⛪🪔🥢💭

I've sometimes wondered what tobacco smoke-cured over piñon would taste like. If wish I'd known to try something like this when I lived in New Mexico, but sadly that was a lifetime ago. Any home growers into Land of Enchantment want to give it a shot?
