Smoking after not having eaten for so long will do this to almost anyone. I know someone who developed a real love for 1792 until he smoked it after skipping breakfast and lunch one day. He put the 1792 away after that.
What a find! Not that it's a good thing that you lost the Honor Blend, but finding a tub of Bond Street is near-miraculous. I don't know how long it's been off the market, but it's been decades since it was available in any package size.

Maybe I'm being too cautious, but I always let the jars sit for a few days and then check to make sure the rings are still tight. I haven't yet had a jar where I found a loose top but it only takes a few seconds to check.

I don't know the name either, but if you look at the YouTube channel "Baumgartner Restoration" for a recent video titled, "Why bother?," you'll see a painting much like yours being cleaned.
I love the work of the New Mexico serigraph artist Fermin Hernandez. I have some of his prints. Sadly he passed away. Since then his work has become harder to find. But I still keep an eye out.
