    I water flush. I find my pipes stay sweet and don't smell. This is a great plus for my wife. Briar is a very dense wood and does not absorb any significant amount of water. So it dries quickly even in rainy uk

    I am surprised anyone wants to associate themselves with bagpipes. An evil instrument. Not for nothing are bits of them called drones. Music can soothe the savage breast! It can also give you headache later

    I get about 15 bowls a tin. Flake or any other cut. It doesn't seem to make much difference.

    What about 1792 flake? Flavoured with tonquin bean. It's very like vanilla. Also it's an outstanding tobacco.

    I acquired some 5 year old LBF. It was heaven . Dark in appearance and similar to how I remember escudo was in the 60's. And yes I am that old! I just wanted opinions on how long to age a batch I just received. I'm after minimum period before gains diminish. All help gratefully received

    Nope. I had declared the tobacco. It was returned. But I know of no lawful reason for its return. In the end I've ordered through an American shop to get it to my SS

    I sent off my secret Santa to the USA but it failed to arrive! Today I've had it returned by British customs. They even pinched the Xmas card. Anyone in UK had similar experiences? And any idea why they did it?
