Ideal Size and Form of a Peterson P-Lip Bit

Some of the new p-lips do lack definition. Here's the p-lip on my 2023 POY. I also like a sharp, crisp shelf to the button. Below the stem I rec'd and the replacement that Peterson gave me (thanks SmokingPipes!).

This popped on Reborn Pipes this morning. I've never encountered this reamer before. It has a UK patent number: UK Patent Number: 177053/22 https://rebornpipes.com/2025/10/01/cleaning-up-a-second-beautiful-morabb-pipe-tool-for-my-collection/comment-page-1/#comment-42523

    Bad Experience Sharing?

Agree with Woodsroad. Any, no knocking forum sponsors, contact them privately to resolve any issues. We don't want an ongoing thread dedicated to bitching about vendor issues. Hopefully they were isolated enough to only require the occasional thread. And I believe the ever popular ebay...

    Show Off Your Barlings Here

The C letter appears to be for 1958, nice find and restoration. I have a K letter sandblast from 1965, it is an excellent smoking pipe (pictured on the Barlings Pipepedia page). There aren't many examples from that era on the webpage, you should submit that one.

    Winter Harbingers of Smoke

    Winter Harbingers of Smoke

When the palm trees start to brown and temps drop into the low 90's, it's time to break out those chilly Fall favorites. (and apparently update your menu)

What are You Watching? [2025] Please Rate 1-5

I have que'd up: All the Presidents Men (can't remember seeing that at all) The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - I see them first run in the movie theater as a young boy, but not since. I re-watched "Three Days of the Condor" earlier this year, it's a favorite.
