"Peers" or "MacKenzie" English Pipe. Help, Please.

Ohhh how I wish I could get my hands on a copy of "Who Made That Pipe"! I know there is some wrong data, but it would still be a good starting point for research.

"Peers" or "MacKenzie" English Pipe. Help, Please.

Yes, I saw that... but the name Peers seems to be the operative brand name. I'm wondering if the "MacKenzie" references if the "Dr. Mackenzie" that influenced pipe smoking in the day.

Thanks for the info! Yes, I don't see a real sterling hallmark... probably fake.

Any Info on a Castello Sea Rock RELAX?

I just did find the mention of "Relax" line for Castellos... but it refered to it being a prototype. Yes, it does have a freehandish look of the 70's. I wonder when Castello started making Sea Rocks? That might help with dating.

Any Info on a Castello Sea Rock RELAX?

Thanks... it is a looker! I've had a number of Castellos and I've never heard of this one!

Any Info on a Castello Sea Rock RELAX?

I can't seem to find any info on the "RELAX" line from Castello. This Sea Rock might be an older pipe from the 60's?? and it appears to be a 6mm filter pipe. Other than that... perhaps a Castello expert here might have some information?

    Any Fritz Becker Fans Here?

On a trip to the USA in 1986, Fritz Becker attended the Chicago Pipe Show and toured the US stopping at selected retailers of his magnificent pipes. With him was this set of unfinished pipes that showed his process from briar cabochon with his design markings, to first carving, and finally...

    Show Off Your Bulldogs/Rhodesians

Here's one you probably haven't seen. A 1980 Ascorti with 2 bowls, one of which is a Bulldog. This pipe was the show special for the 1980 Tinder Box Intl. Annual Franchisee's Convention where they introduced Robert Ascorti's line. Double your pleasure!

James Upshall Pipes - A Discussion

Do you mean no logo on the stem? If so, probably a replacement stem. I sell a lot of Upshall estates and that's usually the case.
