    What’s Your Favorite Esoterica/Germain’s Blend?

Blast! I have a notify set on the tins but hadn't set the bulk - they must have had bulk only and I missed it. Grrr.

    Coumarin in Pipe Tobacco

    So 1792 Flake is contra-indicated?
  3. BingBong

    Ive hit a sentimental jackpot!

I've never seen such a thing. What were his favourite cigarettes?

    What’s Your Favorite Esoterica/Germain’s Blend?

I would enjoy Medium Flake, if I could ever get hold of some. As it is, sometimes I get lucky and get some Gold Leaf R/R, which is very good indeed. Brown Flake is marginally more available and is my favorite of that genre. Special Latakia Flake is also more readily available and is often my...

    Escudo packaging

I had some fresh stock DNR about 15 months ago, trad round packaging. Likewise, more recently, Charatan Rolls which might be made for Kopp by STG. I haven't seen the flake pack for rolls; I'd likely be kicking up about it on here if I did!

    Farewell my American friends

    Oh man. That's cruel.

    HU Director's Cut

Three Nuns is a classic "Perique out, DFK in" case, to its detriment. Maybe it was the pioneer of ruined blends.

    Peterson Vulcanite

Definitely not! Then it would be cheapo thermoplastic probably with a seam. Vulcanite is slightly less hard than acrylic, has a "warmer" feel - experience of both over time will let you arrive at your own perceptions.

    Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Slightly darker, fuller flavour, tobacco overrides the citrus topping more. I like both for their individual qualities.

    No no, it's a keeper :)

    Peterson Vulcanite

You don't say whether you have experience of vulcanite stems with which to compare. The difference in the mouth between vulcanite and acrylic is pretty subtle.

    NEW MEMBER- HELLO

Hello from London UK. I'm lollacopter about my predicted outcome of removing New Member Introductions. You warm my heart.

Of which, by default, some is the radioactive isotope.

    Latakia and it's structural basis

The process is the same for electronic components, long pickling in their kind of magic smoke which they absorb and makes them work. In the same way that electronics release their magic smoke when they've been a component to long, the critical temperature in the pipe bowl releases all that magic...

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

I have the strongest suspicions that McConnell Highgate, Davidoff Flake Medallions and Charatan Rolls are all the same product but under different names for different markets.

    A Cat Question

Tasty snacks usually impress. Is it a feral or simply wandering the domain? Likes looking in to see you, obviously!
