    Just conveying my experience with Brulor pipes specifically and mischaracterized pipes on Smoking Pipes generally in an effort to say that maybe the stem on his Brulor is not vulcanite and therefore might not be oxidized on the inside of the stem.

    I think Brulors come with acrylic stems. It might say vulcanite in the description but the one I bought, and returned, was for sure acrylic. The same goes for Ropp pipes. They all say they have vulcanite stems and all of my 4 came with acrylic stems.

    As I understand it, the blend has become less chocolate-y with the American release. I wouldn’t know though because all of mine is from Germany 2022 and I find that plenty chocolatey.

    You ought to start your own pipe smoking forum. That way, you can make it just the way you want it. Me, I’m happy using this forum. I had to re-crop a pic yesterday too. I sized it down, posted it, and went about my business. It truly is that easy.

    Bobs is better in my opinion. From my recollection Bob’s has more chocolate, less Latakia, which I prefer.

    While GH&Co do say their blends are meant to be smoked fresh, that does not mean they can’t or shouldn’t be stored.
