Good grief. So the whole “roughly 60%” thing is more like 95% or more, which makes their statement 100% bullshit. Sutliff Z50 Black Cordial in a Radice Silk Cut Billiard. I’m quite frankly amazed at how well this stuff smokes. Mineral Oil For Faded Finish
Yeah I take your point. Rim looks good enough for me with a light coat of mineral oil and then I buffed with a silicone pipe cloth over top of it about 8 hrs afterward. It’s been almost 48 hrs since i applied the mineral oil and it looks exactly the same. Hopefully it doesn’t fade back out...- mtwaller

I saw an old thread about this a while back, but I thought I’d revive the subject in case it could help somebody else. I recently cleaned the gunk off a Radice Rind using spit and a paper towel, and while it worked great, the finish was severely faded afterward. (Cue the mineral oil) I dipped...- mtwaller

Picked up this Rind Aero Reverse Calabash from a forum member a week or so ago. Rim was really dark, so I did the old spit and a paper towel treatment. Worked great, but now the rim is noticeably faded looking. I think I’ll rub some mineral oil onto the rim and it’ll look right as rain. Anyhow...- mtwaller
