Thanks for the picture, Seldom. I have been looking (Googling) also. This pipe seems to be a good fit, but when I look closer, my Dad's pipes has a saddle-like stem and it does not appear to be a smooth taper like this one. I am starting to favor Dr. Grabow because they had stems like that. -

FYI Follow Up. I ordered from Estervals the other day and the packaged cleared U.S. customs in 8 days. That is much improved from prior shipments. Love the Pipe, Hate the Stem?
I have many Italian pipes (Castello) and almost all of them have horrible thick stems. They are great couch pipes, but definitely not good for clenching or lunting. I had to give up the fight and just live with it.- npod

About To Give Up On Non Aromatics
Well there you have it. Have at it. Nothing wrong with aromatics. Hell, I tried for years to be a "Virginia" guy because I thought I was supposed to do that in order to be a true pipe smoker of distinction. Turns out I'm a "Burley" guy.- npod
