I Remember When..........
From @Briarcutter 's Humor post: growing up in the 70s, I remember when quicksand was apparently considered a real threat, and multiple times I read/was taught how to survive it. I've only seen quicksand twice in my life, and never needed to use that knowledge.- JoeW

Mine is pretty easy to guess too. Which reminds me of playing BBS games in the late 80s, when you had to type the username of the other person(s) you wanted to play with. My friend finally refused to play anymore until I changed my username to something shorter than "Zaphod Beeblebrox".- JoeW
