    Best Smelling Non-Aromatic Blends

I always think the room note of good Virginias smells like a bread factory. I love coming back into the room I’ve smoked in and smelling that.

On Smoking Slowly and the Benefits...

This might actually be related. I’m the slowest eater of anyone I’ve ever met, I am reminded of this every time we dine with friends. Always been a slow smoker, I don’t have a single pipe or cob for that matter that I can finish in less than an hour, and most of my pipes are quite small and I...

What Do You Mean When You Say….

Almost all of the things that have been mentioned I consider standard for a pipe that gets kept in the stable. I’ll reserve another designation for a pipe that seems to bring out the best of almost everything I chuck at it, and that’s a “magic pipe.” Maybe 1 out of 20 deserves that title.

Why Is HU Directors Cut More Expensive Than Other HU Tobacco Blends?

Dark Moor, LA Broken and Old Fredders are all fantastic with 5 years. Right now I’m really enjoying Nebari from the new Laudisi distribution.

    Update this general recommendations list:

This is similar to what irks me about Cut Blended Plug, what the heck is up with that stuff anyways. I love the brown, black, vintage and especially CVP but man the blended is like Robotussin or something.

Movies You Should See [but Probably Haven't]

You fellas bringing out the big guns! I’ll add another, this one’s a personal favorite of mine, the Cornwall setting just totally sucks me in. I probably watch this movie every other fall, as a vibe adjustment or seasonal shift, it kills off the summertime spirit for me. I’m reminded of this...

Movies You Should See [but Probably Haven't]

Sorcerer is in my top 10 movies of all time. Maybe a decade ago now I saw a 35mm print of it with 4-track magnetic sound at Quentin Tarantino’s theater in L.A. It was almost a religious experience, pure cinema.

Why Is HU Directors Cut More Expensive Than Other HU Tobacco Blends?

Boy am I glad I stocked up on LA Broken at 14.25$ a tin last year, I had a feeling that was an introductory price and that sale was time to pull the trigger. What a deal.

Why Is HU Directors Cut More Expensive Than Other HU Tobacco Blends?

I’m curious which of the euro only HU blends are manufactured by Dan still.
