OJKB I got from a friend on the forum in a Meerschaum I got from a friend on the forum here. Drinking good coffee, just had a stack of peanut butter pancakes, and homemade maple syrup courtesy of my Uncle in Indiana, it's some real deal premium syrup, he has like shacks dedicated to it, and taps his own trees. He's also a big hunter and fisherman, he sent us home with a ton of bluegill too, which was nice. But anyway this syrup is not like anything you'd get at a store and it's heaven on some pancakes.View attachment 434565
Man, Mortar, that syrup sounds delicious. The PB pancakes do, too.
Good looking pipe. Enjoy your day.

This morning (and probably a good part of the day) almost a full flake of Sutliff 507-C in the new to me 1998 Peterson Hand Made House Pipe with an alternative 9mm filter military mount tortoise shell stem. The 22.5mm width allowed for a wider ember and full dry, cool flavor from the tobacco much like a pot shape. The draw was wide open, probably from packing on the loose side, and I neglected to bring a tamper with me and couldn't mess up my finger. I'll correct that later when I get back to it. Because of its thick walls the outside doesn't even get warm. The pipe goes right out when you put it down for a couple of minutes and fires right up in one puff when re-lighting. What a beautifully designed pipe. I can easily see why it was Charles Peterson's favorite style.

Happy Birthday Jim ! 🎂

As gord says, here’s the skippable drivel: I found my electrical problem, an add-on outlet cut into the circuit under the house was wired extremely shoddy and melted and arcing its neutral. This got deleted and two new junction boxes were needed to splice the trashed wire. Replaced and rewired the bathroom on affected circuit’s GFI which was wired all wrong, and a bad light switch.
Grateful every day.
