What did I buy?
It is a Kalmasch as you mentioned. It’s very possible the hose has been replaced with a modern equivalent; the original would’ve been a cloth cover rubber hose—they often dry out and get brittle. Cool pipe! Enjoy it. It could be late 19th–early 20th Century.- TheIronMonkey
