    New Carvers For Cheap?

clickklick, any idea if he has his work online anywhere? Did a Google search and an ebay search and found nothing. Peck, thanks for the suggestion. I will do that one day, but for now, the lady would be pretty pissed if I bought a $500-600 pipe before her engagement ring. :| So do you think...

    New Carvers For Cheap?

Oh no, pruss, I don't mind at all. I actually encourage everyone's two cents! That is an excellent point you make, though. I have also considered just starting out with a Boswell. I have never heard anything bad about a Boswell and at ~$150, the price isn't terribly frightening. I am a bit...

    New Carvers For Cheap?

Peck, do you actually make pipes or are you yanking my wang a little bit?

    New Carvers For Cheap?

The Poker I am watching says 9mm filter as well.. are those hard to find or something? Not familiar with them. Or are you just not a fan of filtered pipes?

    New Carvers For Cheap?

And for anyone that might be interested in a super unique, sweet looking Polinski, this one ends in 23 hours and is pretty awesome in my opinion. Only sitting at $40 right now...

    New Carvers For Cheap?

Great suggestions there! :D Rick Black has an awful website, but his pipes are incredibly unique! I am now watching a beautiful Polinski Poker on ebay that is only at 25 bucks right now.. so crossing my fingers that it won't go much higher.

    New Carvers For Cheap?

Is anyone aware of some new up and coming carvers that may be selling their pipes on the cheap until they get a reputation built up? When I see cheap, I mean less than $100 or so. The big guys that have well-established reps charge some pretty intense prices, albeit I am sure the pipes are well...

    Karma and the Briar

“The soldier is the Army. No army is better than its soldiers. The Soldier is also a citizen. In fact, the highest obligation and privilege of citizenship is that of bearing arms for one’s country” ― George S. Patton Jr. Thank you for your service. It takes a lot of balls to go through all of...

If You Had To Pick A Perfect $100 Pipe??

This Chacom Maya looks like a winner to me, although I do not own one. http://www.pipesandcigars.com/pipes/66379/chacom-maya/ I am craving the Poker. $99.95 seems like a decent deal. Although, at that point, I would personally save up another $40 and grab a Poker from Boswell like this one...

    Who Only Has One Pipe?

I've been at it for a couple of years and still only have 3 pipes.. which usually ends up being enough, as I don't have time to smoke daily as I would like. Great thing you've got going here, shain (and everyone who is donating pipes)!

Tried My Gift From Bob (rmbittner)

Thanks for the suggestion, cosmic! Go for it, boz! It's a nice blend in my opinion.

Tried My Gift From Bob (rmbittner)

Yeah, I wasn't too sure if I would be either, but I rather enjoyed it! :puffpipe:

Tried My Gift From Bob (rmbittner)

Well a little while back, Bob (rmbittner) gifted me a tin of Dunhill Royal Yacht, as I believe he was not too fond of it. Well, I finally got around to smoking a bowl of it. I made sure I had some food in my stomach, as I've read of the somewhat high nicotine content, and lit it up. I was...

Just Placed A TAD Order. Let Me Know If I Snagged A Favorite!

Can't go wrong with Escudo. Sadly enough, that is the only one of the bunch that I have actually tried. Sounds like a nice order, though!

Any B&M Owners On The Forums?

Ouch. Buzzkill, but I know you're only speaking the truth. I wish it wasn't the truth, because I want to love what I do and I think I would love to own and run a B&M tobacco shop. Oh well.

Any B&M Owners On The Forums?

No way! I am in LaGrange too! We have Bull Street Cigar and he's a super nice guy, but it is so small and not enough pipe merch. Then again, in such a small town it'd be risky to open one up. Not sure how many pipe smokers we have here.

Any B&M Owners On The Forums?

Not too far from me here in Georgia then, cary! I do have a degree in Management Information Systems, which is a part of the business school at the University that I attended. I currently work in the IT department of our local hospital. But one day, once I build up some credit and get bored...

Any B&M Owners On The Forums?

Yeah, I am still relatively new at this.. Been going at pipe smoking for a year or two now. I'm 23 and can definitely see myself picking up enough knowledge over time to open a B&M one day, according to what the economy and laws are looking like.

Any B&M Owners On The Forums?

We all talk about B&Ms and which ones we like or don't like. We share our stories about them and what we've learned or maybe even what they've learned from us. But, I am curious, how many forum members actually own and operate B&Ms themselves?
