Sutliff 515 RC-1 Matured Red Virginia

Very nice review and clearly tastes vary and my inexperience adds to the divergence. So, disclaimer the only McClelland I've tried so far is Christmas Cheer 2015 (very enjoyable, I'd say special). Not equating anything to 5100 so really I'm off topic. Piping 3/4 of a yr, so barely taste reds...

***What Are You Smoking, Sept. 2020?

Skiff Mixture in a Rossi Rubino 8320 with black coffee on the porch watching storms rolling in.

    English Never Grows Old

I love Englishes as well. Being new (creeping up on a year now) I'm really mastering the components. Very flavorful (but can't describe), Weaker (weaker than very flavorful, you know) and flat (described in detail as... flat). On second thought, I like them but certainly do not have the...

    P&C Issue Question

Got the back ordered tin all OK so I'm still satisfied.

    Samuel Gawith: Several 250g.

I added a comment with my order letting them know they can feel free to open the boxes and mold check OR not either is fine and I'd check if they don't. I didn't want to be a pain about it but figured it might save them shipping expenses if they discover it up front. Figured a simple comment...

    Samuel Gawith: Several 250g.

Thanks upnorth1. Now I'm mostly good for a few years (only a few boxes ordered). Still awaiting more Kendal Plug but not frantically searching, it can wait.

    In Praise of Boswell’s

+1 Here as well. I've placed a couple orders this year and very satisfied.

PAD By Way of Scott Thile

If you have to cave to PAD then that's the way to do it. Very nice and a great connection to remember the time you spent with him too.

    Savinelli for a Beginner

Aha... Yuuuuge pipe and ears lowered was the camera trickery. Also love that 357 six shooter... nice.

Perique Lovers: What Are Your Favorite Blends?

I don't think I like Perique strong/forward blends but still too new at this to know for sure. But some really enjoyable to me are Old Gowrie and HU Louisiana Broken. I can't get enough of either. I found Director's Cut enjoyable, but a little rougher to my liking but who knows what a couple...

    Samuel Gawith No Mas!

Same here... about 10 more Kendal Plugs and I'm done cellaring SG. That and FVF are my only interests in it anyway. But I don't mind the trickle purchases saving some for the rest of you folks through the rest of this year and next.

Sam Gawith Becoming The New Unicorn

^^ This yes, and B&M if you can get to a few.

    Moldy Kendal Cream Flake

Bummer man but certainly glad to see they're making it right. I'm still hoping for more Kendal Plug as I'm fairly certain I can sand any mold off the outside because it's just got to be a scientific impossibility for the mold to penetrate that rock solid block ;)

***What Are You Smoking, Sept. 2020?

Love that pipe more every time I see it. Exquisite grain also the shape and stem.

Some Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls in a cob along with black coffee on the back porch.

    Filtered Pipes

I'm smoking a Rossi 8320 no filter no adapter right now. Works a treat with wide open draw.

    Bedroom Tobacco

Same here and same tobacco lol. I smoke outside and hope for a mini-split AC for garage in a couple years. But pipes are in sealed containers and most tobacco in a cabinet both in a spare room with a modest air purifier.
